Tech Programmes Approved by AICTE and affiliated to UP, Technical University Lucknow. GCET offers B. Tech. Courses of total duration of 4 years in following Engineering programmes. B.Tech Computer Science (120 Seats) Computer Science and Engineering Programme imparts basic hardware and software Knowledge to the students.The program comprises courses on system software, software engineering, RDBMS, Computer Graphics, Image Processing Artificial intelligence etc.Besides Novel NetWare 5.0,Microsoft Windows 98/2000, C+ + , Networking environment with Linux, Windows NT, The student to requires to learn a wide range of application software such as Visual studio 6.0, AutoCAD, Oracle 8i, HTML, JAVA, E-Commerce etc. B.Tech Information Technology (90 Seats) Information Technology, the synthesis of Computers, information and communication, is a versatile technology that can be used in every aspect of Computers, Communication, Manufacturing and Systems. In view of ever increasing size of world IT market, the trend of education has shifted towards IT based education.Present growth rate of India's contribution to IT is very high, with size of IT market being around US $7 billion against world IT market of US $1.5 trillion. B.Tech Electronics & Communication (90 Seats) Electronics & Communication play a significant role in modern day to day Technology.To prepare the the students for the advanced courses such as communication, digital & data communication, computer communication,Radar & even entertainment electronics.The laboratory courses besides theory portion. B.Tech Electronics & Instrumentation (60 Seats) Besides basic courses of electronics circuits, digital electronics & communication, this program imparts specialized courses of instrumentation useful in process industries & instrumentation, transducers & sensors, signal conditioning,process instrumentation & biomedical instrumentation etc. B. Tech Mechanical Engineering (60 Seats) Mechanical Engg. Department caters to the Design, Manufacturing & Energy related needs of the industry and society at large. Emphasis is placed on quality training of graduates into broad backgrounds in engineering fundamentals so that they develop critical thinking and are capable of contributing to national needs and also to the advancement of science and technology. Department has highly qualified, creative and dynamic staff with well recognized credentials and is putting all efforts to further the standing of the department to make it one of the top mechanical engineering departments.

NRI's Admission
NRI's Admission Direct admission to B.Tech. (4 yrs) NRI seats on first come first serve basis. Affiliated to UP Technical University and approved by AICTE (Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India). Reserved quota exclusively for NRIs and PIOs foreign nationals as follows: Information Technology : 14 Seats Computer Science & Engg : 14 Seats Electronics and Communication : 9 Seats Electronics & Instrumentation : 9 Seats Mechanical Engineering : 6 Seats Qualifications Have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from an Institution situated outside India, which is considered equivalent to (10+2) examination by the Association of Indian Universities. OR Have passed High School Certificate Education (GCE) Exam with Physics, Chemistry and Higher Maths (A) from London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka. They possess valid SAT-II score with Maths level II C, Physics and Chemistry. Their relative merit shall be decided based on their SAT-II score. Eligibility
Eligibility Minimum qualification is 10 + 2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. For direct admission minimum percentage required is 50% (PCM).

Rules and Regulations
Admission Procedure Admissions to B.Tech courses are made through a common entrance test i.e., UP State Engineering Admission Test (UPSEE / AIEEE /AIMCET ) held in the month of May every year. Students who qualify this test and stand on the UPSEAT merit are eligible for admission to B.Tech courses and can opt for our college through counseling conducted by the UPSEE / AIEEE /AIMCET cell at IET, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. The U.P Government permits direct admissions against lapsed seats, after the UPSEE / AIEEE /AIMCET counseling is over. The minimum pass percentage for direct admission is governed by the UP Government Order (GO) issued from time to time.

Infrastructure
The Campus A self-supporting campus is fast coming up at 1, Institutional Area, Phase-II, Greater Noida. It is the first plot on the super express highway. The campus, spread over an area of 19 acres, will have all modern facilities such as spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, separate hostels for girls and boys, seminar rooms, conference halls, indoor and outdoor games facilities, gymnasium, play grounds, canteen, etc. Well-connected public transport system already exists between Noida and Greater Noida as well as between Delhi and Noida. The hub-points in Delhi are accessible from the campus in 60 minutes flat. With the new 8-lane expressway, the traveling time between the National Capital and the modern city of Greater Noida would be reduced by half.
