(A Statutory body under Ministry of Power, Government of India) 4th National Certification Examination For Energy Managers and Energy Auditor- 2007 As per the Energy Conservation Act 2001, it is mandatory for the designated consumers to get Energy audit conducted by an Accredited Energy Auditor (under clause 14(i)]. BEE has been empowered to specify the qualification criteria and procedures for the certification of Energy Managers and qualifications for Accredited Energy Auditors. The passing of the National level certification examination is a qualification for an energy manager to be appointed or designated as Certified Energy Manager. For accreditation of energy auditors, certification of energy auditor may be one of the prerequisites besides other criteria before an energy auditor is considered for accreditation. Exam Date: 14-Jan-2007 Details: All India Post Graduate Entrance Examination for Admission Under 50% Open Merit Seats Quota in MD/MS/PG Diploma and MDS Courses in Medical & Dental Colleges Applications are invited in the prescribed form for All India Post Graduate Medical / Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE-2007) to be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences on Sunday, the 14th January, 2007 for admission under open merit seats quota in various Postgraduate (MD/MS/PG Diploma & MDS) courses in Medical and Dental Colleges in the country run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities. (2) The candidate must possess MBBS/BDS degree from a recognised Medical / Dental College or a foreign degree included in the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 AND full registration either from the Medical / Dental Council of India or State Medical / Dental Council after completing the compulsory rotating internship. (3) Candidates who have obtained MBBS / BDS from Medical / Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible to apply. However, candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare / D.G.H.S., New Delhi) to do MBBS/BDS from Medical/Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply subject to submission of requisite documents specified in the Prospectus. Exam Cities and Codes for Examination Cities The overall coordination and responsibility lies with Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, designated as the Organizing Institute for GATE 2007. Candidates will be required to appear in a single paper of three hours duration. The examination will be held from 0930 to 1230 hrs. on Sunday, February 11, 2007. The list of papers for GATE 2007 is given under Structure of Gate. The question papers will be in English only. Before applying for GATE 2007, candidates must assure themselves that they have chosen the right paper, which qualifies them to become eligible to seek admission to the specific programme they are interested in. The criteria for postgraduate admission with Scholarship/ Assistantship are different in various Institutes. GATE Offices are not in a position to provide any information in this regard. Some information regarding postgraduate programmes in various Institutes is given under PG admission. For more details, the candidates are required to contact the Institutes/Universities to which they are interested in seeking admission. The choice of the paper
is the responsibility of the candidate. Eligibility: GATE Qualification Admission to Postgraduate Programmes, with MHRD and some other government scholarship/ assistantship, in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Science at engineering colleges /institutes in the country will be open to those who qualify through GATE. Some engineering colleges/Institutes specify GATE as mandatory qualification even for admission of self-financing students to postgraduate programmes. However, GATE qualification by itself does not guarantee admission or scholarship/ assistantship. How To Apply: There are two different ways by which candidates can apply for GATE 2007, namely Online Registration and Offline Registration. Detailed information about each of these processes is given below. Online Registration Details of the online process

BITSAT-2007 will be of total 3 hour duration (without break). There will be 150 questions in all. The number of questions in each part is as follows: All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with choice of four answers, only one being correct choice. Each correct answer fetches 3 marks, while each incorrect answer has a penalty of 1 mark. No marks are awarded for not attempted questions. While the candidate can skip a question, the computer will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as correct answer.
